Our free one-on-one trainings are for any individual educator interested in doing genealogy with students. This includes individual classroom teachers, librarians, after-school program coordinators, Scout troop leaders, and home school educators.

Date and Time: Monday through Friday at a flexible time based on your schedule, including evening hours.
Discussion topics include:
- Brainstorm a tailored plan to integrate genealogy into your existing curriculum and student programs
- Discover strategies to make genealogy accessible and engaging for all students
- Learn how to address potentially sensitive topics related to family history in a respectful and age-appropriate manner
- Help students create an inquiry-based research plan based on their unique history
- Identify and address common misconceptions that students have about genealogy
- Bring parents and guardians onboard as collaborators as students explore their roots
