During this focused, one-day service, an American Ancestors genealogist will review your existing research, explore promising avenues of discovery, and develop a personalized strategy to help you achieve your research goals.
Your researcher will examine relevant records and resources, conduct targeted preliminary research, and provide recommendations for next steps—including opportunities for additional professional research or guidance for continuing independently.
Expert Assessment pricing starts at $735 for members and $875 for non-members.

What You'll Receive
With your completed Expert Assessment, you'll receive:
- Research findings and resources: A list of the specific records and resources examined during the assessment.
- Copies of discovered records: Copies of relevant records uncovered during the research, when available.

Where Will Your Research Lead?
