Rebecca join American Ancestors with a background in rare books and special collections; most recently having worked at Harvard’s Houghton Library. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology, with a minor in Museum Studies from Bryn Mawr College. She expanded her career with a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, with a concentration in Cultural Heritage Management.
Her experience working with sources and documents dating back to the twelfth century has provided a growing expertise in deciphering handwriting styles across different record sets. Rebecca has spent over a decade researching her family’s genealogy, tracing New England, back to her English, and Irish ancestors to their origins.
