Ted brings more than three decades of fundraising and capital campaign experience to American Ancestors. Previously, he successfully led campaigns at various educational and social service organizations.

Dionne Jackson

Assistant Vice President for Inspirational Giving
Dionne most recently worked in development at the National Archives Foundation and held leadership positions at Lehigh University and the University of the Virgin Islands.

Stacie Madden

Director of Advancement
Stacie Madden has over 20 years’ experience in development, marketing, communications, sales, community relations, and volunteer management.

Angela Mudd

Senior Philanthropic Giving Officer
Angela brings almost ten years’ experience fundraising for non-profit organizations. She previously worked for New England College, Northeastern University School of Law, and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Kelse Petersen

Leadership Giving Officer
Kelsey Petersen (who goes by Kelse) joined the advancement team at American Ancestors as the Leadership Giving Officer in January 2022.

Steven L. Solomon

Assistant Vice President for Advancement
Steve has been a key member of the Advancement Team since February 2010.

Jennifer Washburn

Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations
Prior to American Ancestors, Jennifer raised tens of millions of dollars for institutional priorities in her decade-plus tenure as a senior development officer at New York University.

Kara Wasilauski

Prospect Research and Portfolio Analyst
Kara joined American Ancestors from the Boston Lyric Opera as a Development Coordinator and Patron Relations Associate. She has also worked at the Nichols House Museum and The Trustees. She graduated from Smith College with a BA in History.

Sarah Zysk

Advancement Coordinator
Sarah Zysk has primary responsibility for all gift processing and related donor communications, Tessitura updates, and the Annual Report. She joined American Ancestors in January 2024.
