Dorothy brings an exceptional breadth of experience in advancement, nonprofit leadership, and mission-driven organizations.

Dionne has 20+ years of experience securing major gifts and building transformative partnerships; she has raised over $100 million in her career.

Ted brings more than three decades of fundraising and capital campaign experience to American Ancestors. Previously, he successfully led campaigns at various educational and social service organizations.

Stacie Madden has over 20 years’ experience in development, marketing, communications, sales, community relations, and volunteer management.

Kelsey Petersen (who goes by Kelse) joined the advancement team at American Ancestors in January 2022.

Steve has been a key member of the Advancement Team since February 2010.

Fiona brings over five years of experience in philanthropy to American Ancestors. She joins us from Horizons for Homeless Children, where she worked as the Development Operations Assistant.

Sarah Zysk has primary responsibility for all gift processing and related donor communications, Tessitura updates, and the Annual Report. She joined American Ancestors in January 2024.
