Shalley Marshall

Archivist

Shalley Marshall received a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Russian from Tulane University, and a M.S. in Library and Information Science, with an Archival Management focus, from Simmons University. Shalley is a member of multiple committees in the American Library Association Rare Books and Manuscripts section: the Controlled Vocabularies Editorial Group (CVEG) and the Bibliographic Standards Committee (BSC), where she is working on the Catalogers Directory and the Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (DCRM) linking project. She is the Assistant Archivist at the New England Historic Genealogical Society, where she is working to strengthen intellectual access to collections and provide reference support to patrons.
