. . . Know ye that I William Randall of Scituate in the county of Plimouth in New-England As well for and in consideration of the fatherly love and affection that I have and bear to my well beloved son Isaac Randall of Scituate . . . And by these presents for me and my heirs do fully truly clearly and absolutely give grant assign alien enforce and confirm unto him the said Isaac Randall and to his heirs and assigns for ever all that my now dwelling house barn tanhouse out houses edifices and buildings of what find or fort sooner that I now have and possess within the township of Scituate aforesaid with my whole farms or tract of land on which the said houses and buildings stand and are erected with all other the appurtenances in and upon same that is to say more particularly all my said houses buildings upland and meadows which I am now possessed of in the said town . . . excepting only such part thereof as I have by deed before this sold confirmed to my son Joseph Randall of said Scituate also always expecting and reserving to my self and to Elizabeth my wife the whole and sole possession use and benefit of all and every part of the above granted or mentioned to be granted promised for and during the whole time of our natural lives or the natural life of the longest liver of us . . . and I the said William Randall for my self my heirs executors and administrators to and with my said son Isaac Randall his heirs and assigns do covenant promise and grant by these presents in manner and form following that is say that at the time of ye ensealing and until the perfecting of these presents I the said William Randall am ye true proper and lawful owner of the above granted houses upland meadows . . .
