About American Inspiration
American Inspiration Author Series was created as an in-person series featuring best-selling writers and their latest books that explore themes of personal identity, families and immigration, and social and cultural history. Building on the momentum of the American Inspiration author series, in 2020 American Ancestors and the Boston Public Library partnered to present virtual events featuring today’s celebrated authors and their new books. Produced in partnership with the GBH Forum, these free author events are available online and recorded.
Each American Inspiration lecture invites A-list speakers in the fields of history, genealogy, literature, genetics, and antiquarian arts to educate and entertain diverse and intellectually curious audiences. With your support, we can sustain and expand this groundbreaking series.
